This includes a native mobile app and web experience, servicing, core, and all back-end technologies, integrated into a single, cloud-native solution (“Bank-in-a-Box”).

How You’ll Make an Impact
Design and Development
- Design and develop new components for key UI experiences using React, TypeScript, and Next.js
- Develop fully tested production code that contributes to the core capabilities of the front end
- Integrate with new banking services, ensuring smooth, secure journeys that adhere to core coding standards
- Provide architectural insight and vision for evolving the platform in the future
Leadership and Team Management
- Engage and work productively with offshore engineers
- Mentor other engineers, teach with empathy, and learn from the team
- Provide quality guidance and review contributions to ensure standards are followed
- Lead the Web Practice, supporting the team and promoting good practices
Client Focus
- Participate in UX reviews and backlog refinement
- Monitor high-quality software releases
- Contribute to discussions involving platform architecture and evolution
- Nurture close collaboration with visual designers
Compliance and Risk
- Raise any regulatory issues identified and contribute to resolving them
- Work with integrity within a regulated environment
- Complete all mandatory training required for compliance
What You’ll Bring
- At least eight years of experience working with front-end libraries and frameworks, specifically React for both client-side and server-side rendering
- Experience working with design systems and component catalogues, evolving these and using reusable assets in new experience builds
- Deep knowledge of efficient CI/CD development and deployment practices, including automation and infrastructure as code
- Exposure to cloud and headless content management system integrations (for example, Contentful)
- Experience with development tooling for unit, UI, and integration testing, as well as static analysis, vulnerability detection, and dependency management (for example, Node, Jest, React Testing Library, SonarCloud, and NPM)
